The Prophet has been given knowledge of the Unseen by Allah.
Unfortunately, something as clear as has needlessly become contentious, even though the term nabi (prophet) itself is literally derived from prophecy and foretelling of events and the Quran itself confirms that Allah bestows knowledge of the Unseen upon His chosen messengers:
‘He (Allah is] Knower of the Unseen, and He does not disclose His [knowledge of the] unseen to anyone, except a messenger whom He has chosen.
The Qur’ān would not have mentioned this if it was polytheistic or impossible.
This book will evidence from the Qur’ān that Allah bestows ilm al ghayb to His servants and will also describe the distinction between Allah’s knowledge and the ilm al ghayb of the creation.
The text also cites 40 hadith exclusively from Sahih Bukhāri – as that is seen by many as the most authentic source after the Holy Qur’ān – which demonstrate the Prophet’s e knowledge of the Unseen.
Fourty instances of when the Prophet e demonstrated his God-given knowledge of unseen matters should suffice for the truth seeking mind.
May Allah the Almighty open all our hearts to the Truth.
